From the table to your menu

QR code menus for cafés and restaurants

Turn your menu link into a free QR code, or use a paid plan to host a menu file and replace it without reprinting your table signs.

From link to print in three steps

  1. 01

    Choose where your menu lives

Use a mobile-friendly menu page or a publicly accessible PDF. Open the link in a private browser window first: guests should not need your cloud-storage login.

  2. 02

    Create and label your QR

Paste your menu URL into the generator below. Add a clear instruction such as “View our menu”. If you need to change the destination later, choose an editable code on a paid plan before printing.

  3. 03

Test it at an actual table

Print one sign at its intended size. Scan with different phones under your venue’s lighting, then check that the menu is readable on mobile data.

Create your QR code

Scan-safe. Print-ready.

Step 1: Choose content

Already have a menu on your website?

A free static QR code points straight to that address. You can update the page at the same URL without changing the QR. If the address changes, you will need to replace the printed static code. Static codes do not include LlamaQR scan analytics.

Need somewhere to host a PDF?

With an eligible paid plan, use Files in your dashboard to upload and publish the menu, then download its linked QR code. Replace and publish a new file version when prices change. Keep the same QR instead of generating a new one for each menu update.

Design for hungry people on small screens

A short, readable menu page is often easier to use than a large print-layout PDF. Keep file sizes modest, make prices legible without excessive zooming, and offer a printed menu for guests who cannot or prefer not to scan.

Questions before you print?

Is a menu QR code free?

Creating a static QR for a menu URL you already host is free. Hosting a file with LlamaQR, editing a QR destination and viewing scan analytics require an eligible paid plan.

Can I change my menu after printing?

Yes, if you update content at the same URL, or use a paid editable QR and change its destination or published file. You cannot rewrite a URL already encoded inside a static QR.

Does this include ordering or payments?

LlamaQR opens your menu or destination link. It does not provide a restaurant ordering system, point-of-sale integration or payment processing for menu orders.
