LlamaQR

Static versus editable

Choose the model before you print. An existing printed static code cannot be converted into an editable code without generating and distributing a different image.

Static — fixed content, no account required

  • Encodes the destination URL, text, Wi-Fi payload, or contact data you enter.
  • Created entirely in the browser. LlamaQR does not receive the payload or a locally chosen logo.
  • Contains no LlamaQR redirect, no platform expiration, no scan quota, and no watermark.
  • Keeps working if LlamaQR is offline, as long as the encoded content itself remains valid.
  • A website QR still depends on that website remaining available. That is not a LlamaQR expiration.

Editable — change the destination later, account required

  • Encodes a stable LlamaQR URL such as https://go.llamaqr.com/<opaque-code>.
  • Resolution depends on LlamaQR remaining available and on the code not being suspended or deleted.
  • Create an editable code from your dashboard with an eligible plan.
  • Saving a static design to an account later does not make it editable or add scan analytics.
  • A static QR that points at a LlamaQR-hosted page still depends on LlamaQR hosting.

After cancellation, existing editable links are intended to keep resolving to their last permitted destination until a separately disclosed change, abuse suspension, owner deletion, or service discontinuation. That is not a lifetime guarantee.
